📌 Operations & HR Coordinator wanted

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a motivated Operations & HR Coordinator to play a dual role within our team. In this full-time position, you’ll spend three days a week with the Operations team and two days a week supporting HR initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to organize memorable group trips and oversee trip logistics. On the HR side, you’ll lead recruitment for our travel guides and interns and foster a welcoming company culture.

Operations tasks 

  • Trip Planning & Design

    • Design and organize trips from start to finish, crafting itineraries that align with Yes-Trips’ mission of providing affordable and engaging experiences for young adults.

    • Reach out to and build partnerships with accommodations, transport providers, local guides, and activity vendors to create unique, cost-effective packages.

    • Develop detailed proposals, offers, and pricing structures for new trips, ensuring a balance between quality and affordability.

  • Coordination & Logistics

    • Oversee the full logistics of each trip, including booking arrangements, coordinating schedules, and preparing on-the-ground materials for participants and travel guides. 

    • Handle any trip-related adjustments, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving if challenges arise.

HR & Community

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Lead the recruitment process for travel guides and interns, identifying candidates who align with our values and have a passion for working with young adults.

    • Develop job postings, review applications, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding to welcome new team members.

  • Training & Community-Building:

    • Organize training sessions for travel guides, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to deliver outstanding experiences.

    • Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere among our team and guide community, organizing team-building activities and engagement events to build strong, lasting connections.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Travel/Tourism & HR:

    • Background in travel operations, HR, or recruitment; experience in at least one field is preferred.

  • Languages 

    • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required, as it’s essential for clear communication with international partners, participants, and team members.

    • Additional languages are a plus, as they can enhance our ability to work with diverse travel partners and provide better communication. 

  • Flexibility for Occasional Travel:

    • Willingness to travel as needed to accompany trips or facilitate training and on-the-ground support.
